SYNOPSIS
Sophie, a persistent university student in York, England, goes a bit overboard by studying the whole night for her big semester exam worth 80% of the course. It’s around 6:00 a.m. and Sophie is still revising her notes for the exam happening around 1:00 p.m. However, Sophie can’t help it but to start feeling tired, leading her to slowly lay her head on her notes and close her eyes. Suddenly, she opens her eyes and feels like something’s not right. The day is suddenly bright and she checks her phone to see dozens of messages from her friend regarding the exam and where she was. That’s when the hard truth hits Sophie that she overslept and missed the exam. Stressed about the repercussions of her accident, Sophie’s now on a mission to do whatever it takes to be eligible to take a makeup exam, despite the fact that oversleeping is not a reasonable excuse. Even with her sister, Lily, not cooperating with support and tricking everyone else (including her mum), a time bomb is put on Sophie to get that makeup exam accepted or her world will fall apart.
