SYNOPSIS
Set in a dystopian contemporary Mexico with the abolishment of the presidential term-limit led by former president Emilio Vargas who named Lorenzo Santos his successor before passing away. Thus, he’s been president for nearly a decade and has governed the country as an authoritarian regime. A few days after the newest presidential election and in his luxurious seaside penthouse, Lorenzo Santos celebrates a controversial re-election win against opposition leader, Alejandro Ibáñez, which is widely believed to be rigged. Surrounded by loyal allies and family, the night unfolds with music, dancing, and forced optimism, masking growing national unrest outside the compound. However, younger members of the family privately discuss being disturbed by the public perception on Lorenzo from what they uncover online. As they question the legacy they are part of along with the president being unaware of the shifting tide within his own walls, these small group of grandchildren hatch a plan that could unravel everything and forever damage the family reputation.
